Design Challenge
- HBO business owner reached out to PlayStation to designed a brand new reward page on the PlayStation Vue for Game of Thrones series release to showcase the streaming service package, game rewards, characters, and game avatars.
- PlayStation Vue (PS Vue) is a streaming television service owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment and an online video service that replaces cable or satellite TV.
- The main challenges were how to created a user-friendly page layout, banner, grid, user reward page, and provide an intuitive streaming CTA’s that lead to a good user shopping experience.
Design Solutions
- I solved UI/UX challenges of showing rewards packages, character avatars, and streaming services, focusing on user-centric design. Module creation needed design research and wireframing to reach the best solutions.
- Displayed and branded HBO, Game of Thrones, and PlayStation Vue loges on the newly designed banner
- Increased rewards visibility

- From the UX standpoint, I made streaming services more accessible to the user.

Banner Design
Due to the branding requirements, I had to include a few different logos on the banner containing the HBO, PlayStation Vue, and Game of Thrones logos. The design challenge was logo hierarchy and information placement on the page banner.

Rewards
Your Rewards component shows a summary of the available rewards items to the user.

Themes Component
I designed a new interactive component that displays available Game of Thrones themes rewards. The feature allows users to select a theme from the list for their PS console. Users can see and change the interactive theme and choose a theme that they like for PS consoles.

Character Avatars Component
I created a character avatar component that displays available Game of Thrones themes characters avatars. The feature allows users to select their favorite character and redeem their reward for the PS console. Video instruction is available to show the user how to redeem their prize.

I created a watch component for Game of thrones with the CTA button that leads to live streaming with PlayStation Vue.

Final Page Layout
I finalized the page layout for the reward page that solved UI/UX challenges and met the business requirements. The new design shows rewards packages, banners, character avatars, and streaming services, focusing on user-centric design.
